Card Verification Value/Code

The Card Verification Value/Code is a security number which is found on all current credit cards. This number is required for additional identity verification and fraud prevention.

The location of your Card Verification Value/Code number depends on your card type:


Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard and Diners Club

Visa EuroCard/MasterCard Diners CVV2

The 3-digit Card Verification Value/Code number is printed in the signature area on the back of the card. The Card Verification Value/Code number is made up of the last 3 digits shown after the credit card number.

American Express

Amex CVV2

The 4-digit Card Verification Value/Code number is printed on the front of the card above and to the right of the imprinted card number.
